| Up for sale is our 1978 Cigarette 28SS “Miss Cigarette”. She's truly one of a kind. It was a 4 year restoration journey. Other than the cockpit upholstery, everything else was completed by myself with care and attention to detail. I approached this restoration with the idea of keeping this boat as original as possible (with the exception of the cabin), and try not to make it something that it is not; a modern version of a Cigarette. I see it done all the time. Everything performed on this boat was done with the idea of doing it right the first time with no short cuts. I'm old school and so is this boat. It is all marine paint, no wrapping! If you like wrapped neon green boats with tribal graphics this is probably not your cup of tea. It is a representation of what The Cigarette boat roots were back in the day. It is an early Borg Warner Arneson surface drive conversion. We kept and rebuilt the original windshield for the mere fact that it saved our ass a couple times. Most people delete or chop down the windshield, not here. She sports twin GM 350 Mercruisers with Borg Warner transmissions. Hull is refastened, pretty much everything from stem to stern has been replaced. This boat is all American, no foreign parts anywhere down to the nuts and bolts. Factory dual fuel tank model with head layout. She is an original Newport beach California, West Coast boat her whole life and is a part of our family. She is loved at every port. Thanks for stopping to take a look at her.
