There have never been any problems and NEVER been in Salt Water. The owner wanted to increase the power on the boat. The drives were removed and completely rebuilt by riggs marine with new 1.25 gears, freshly sealed, and powder coated black. They have zero hours and never been ran. We also have the orginal 1.5 gear set. The gimbals have also received the same treatment and have zero hours. We have two Mercury Lab finished props. 17.5 x 28 Pitch. The boat had 557 cu in naturally aspirated motors that made around 700 hp, with the original 3's, 1.5 gears, and those props the boat ran 102 mph.
