Sorry, I assumed it was the Callan I saw in St. Pete in 2000. That boat was cool.. I'll post the pics from 2000 when we scan them.

The boat was on land had 2 Huge surface props and 1 smaller in the center for docking which ran on an diesel engine. The other 2 off Turbine.

probably the same boat, it was re-rigged with diesels, you could still see the knockouts where the turbine exhuast was...

I am pretty sure that is a whole different boat. David reads the board so maybe he'll let us know. It runs 85 with the diesels.

it maybe, but there are two large holes in the swim platform area that i thought is where the old turbine exhaust was....

it is a different boat, the exhaust dumps up high on the sides on the turbine model, and on the corners of the swim platform on the diesel. i don't know what those holes are for on the swim platform...

The boats are differnet V bottoms. The first one with turbines is a 55' and the second one with the Cat diesels is the new 62'.

The holes in the back you are referring to are air vent holes for the propellers.

Answers.... In Hellfire's (T53-1500hp each) case the fuel consumtion is less than Callens (T- 55L11d's-4000hp each) . Hellfire burns 110 GPH x 2 or 3.6 gal a min for both motors at WOT.

Throttling is performed the same way you throttle a High Speed Catamaran with slightly less throw and a smooth sharp action.

Hellfire's owner is bumping up her horsepower to 1800 per side at the momment and will debut next years poker run scene with a new look.
