Since you got that boat from behind Humbug before I could. And seeing as I'm already in Florida, I will russel up my old offshore helmets and vests, a couple of GPS's and we'll go for it.

Will we need helmets and safety equipment, or can we just use the empty beer cans for flotation devices?

The emphasis will be on safety above all.

We want this to be a fun event so that it could possibly be a way for HORBA, to put on some more old open water races.....how about the Pacific, like the old days?

And I'm sure that the Northeast and Great Lakes would want their share too...let's see that makes 4 total....that is plenty for a fun circuit.

It will all depend how many show up and race in the first event.

What if we invite the builders of center console fishboats to race along for the World Championship of CC's? Might be mighty interesting, and a great chance to stir up some s**t!
