660 hours is not all that bad for a boat that age but it does depend on how hard it was driven...i've seen 454's with over 1000 hours on them because they were very well taken care of. It is a great motor. Definately make sure the hull is in good running shape (if it is a trailered boat and the trailer was a little to short it might have a hook at the transom forcing the nose down when on plane and reducing speed). Also check out the structure of the boat for soft spots such as in the floor and overall just make sure that everything in the boat works and looks decent...it won't look brand new but it shouldn't be looking like it might break at any time. Keep in mind that a motor rebuild might be in order soon following the purchase of the boat....you never really know when it will quit. Overall the Baja 240 sport is a good boat and I hope it works out for you.

I can't wait to get mine back out this year with a solid substructure.
