you will need a waxing agent or Duratec in the final coat to make it sandable. Its best to spray it with a Duratec gloss additive but it is possible to roll it on with good results. Where is the area at on the boat?

Now this is old school but why not buy a pre valve to spray your gell with and i think the price is around two dollars and a half and it would be nice to know the area that need's to be sprayed because you just might not need to buy anything else other then Acetone .

I use Pre Vale's all the time. They are great for small touch ups. 10 x 10 is pushing it but yea its certainly do able with the little pre vale unit. Good idea. You should be able to get away with just a waxing agent and acetone. Alecsammy what part of the country are you in?
