I would think that asking if anybody knows the history of the boat would get you farther rather then (I wound like to screw the broker out of this boat. Can you guyes help). And then you would not look so bad.

However, he was referring to me being a boat broker. Saying that was not a REAL job.

Maybe it doesn't compare to santitation engineer or whatever he might do.

Dont all brokers agreements have a clear statement that says they get paid their percentage even if the owner of the boat sells it himself ? I thought I'd even heard of some wacky ones continuing that for up to a year after the contract expires !
