does sound like a good time. as long as The weathers good and it doesnt conflict with a drag race i'll proably be in.
I have a 5 month old son and 4 year old daughter now too so it puts a damper on the festivities too sometimes.

If you're looking for just docking, I wouldn't go to Chelsea piers. I docked my boat there last summer, set up my bumpers etc ( it was a very tight spot). I spoke to the dock supervisor who assured me he'd check on the boat every 30 mins or so. I warned him that the pre-set bumpers they had on the dock were extremely worn down and would mess the paint on the boat up so make sure MY safety bumper doesn't slip. Sure enough I come back and there's a 6 foot dock rash on my boat because the A22HOLE switched the lines up causing my safety bumper to move. Did I mention he was walking on my deck with SHOES??? ( Saw shoe marks all over my deck!) . The best docking around that area (and the cheapest $25 for 4 hours $50 for 24 hours) is at the boat basin. Its extremely protected and only a couple minutes farther from Chelsea piers. Its right on the west side 2 blocks from the new trump apartment building.
