Anything specific to the Panther model would be helpful, - promo sales blurbs, available options, special option packages . . . ) Since I only just bought one and never knew of this style before , I'm not really sure what to ask for.

I'm thinking of buying a 1988 29' Scarab Excel. Some of you mentioned litterature on this model or a year before or after. Is it something you can mail me?

Any other advice on checking out the boat before purchase? I rode it, checked the compression on the blown 502, most instruments work etc. The current owner really made a shining engine room.

Any special things I need to check?

check the hull under the engine on the sides of the pads on the o/s for cracks on the i/s look closely under the motor for cracks in the gel as well, On the flat where the bilge pump and float sw are mine had cracks that opened up water got in delaminated the core and what was a hairline crack on the o/s is now a definitecrack on both the inside and outside and this winter that's my new project
