I like the idea but what are you thinking? How would it close and open for loading and unloading in the water. What are you going to use to build it. It would have to be able to be in water and not rust...

I am thinking about a fiberglass "nosecone" type deal that will come back to the cockpit area but still allow a couple feet above the deck and room on the sides... it shouldnt have to raise or open or close... just drive her in.

You might check with roadrunner in Lewisville. He re-did mine and would probably do alot of your custom work. He is reasonably priced also.

Masher why dont you buy the old mold for the boat and you could make it like a waffle iron, press a button and pop it out into the water. LOL is that boat a veal? or a lean mean racing machine. ( gotta toughen that boat up, through some gravel on it or something.)

MASHER 44 I was going to do that with swinging doors out back leave it open on the bottom so when you back it in it won't float this way the boat will be out of the rain and sun, snow. it would have panels that unlock to get to the sides and top it would have been made out of aluminum painted. this would have been add on to my boat trailer. but I ended up buying a big cover it 14x30x10 instead. I would think about 5000 to add to the trailer. SO DOES IT SOUND GOOD OR DUM AZZ TO YOU ART
