New 29 Activator

When will we be able to see some pics of the new 29 Activator?
It would be nice to see some pics of the plug and layup, too.

JCPERF,

Any chances of getting some photos of this boat? Any word about it? The 27' is a great/fast rough water boat, do you think the 29 will be better in the rough? Is it a new bottom design or does it share the same characteristics of the 27'??

Thanks,
DPT

The 29 we predict will be the best single engine all around boat.He designed it to be a stretched 27, a little taller, wider, and the steps look like the big Fountain style step.It will weigh the same as the 27.Around 4400 lbs.It would be the boat to beat in F1 like the 27.

Re: New 29 Activator

The one thing I have always liked about the 27's were there versatility in all conditions. Those boats love to eat up the rough stuff and run very well in the calm stuff. I really think the new 29' would be a better suited boat for the SVL class. The Highnoon/Hocus Pocus boat is a runner but running against boats two feet bigger having to weigh the same weight is tough. Mark Kowalski has spent a bunch of time dialing in his 27' Activator F1 and it shows. I'd be really curious to see how that new 29' runs. Any more info or pics that come along please fill us in. I have always enjoyed when a builder comes out with a new model.

Thanks for the info,
DPT

Yea... I keep checking in for pics.
6'6" is pretty narrow.
Whats the beam on the 32?
And is the Activator site still down?

Re: New 29 Activator

My 1989 27' Activator measures 6'5" at the outside of the rubrail, at the transom.
Sounds like the new 29 will be around 7' at the same location.
