Jass, black? The theme is chrome/stainless on blue. Chrome rockers/covers are avilable for most switches.

there is nothing for black to tie to colorwise? Other than the tweeter grills.

the best looking custom appearances maintain a theme throughout, with no interruption. ESPECIALLY dashes IMHO.

O.K. I agree 100% on the trim bezel. We were talking about either painting silver or stripping the powdercoat and attemping to polish.

The switch covers are allegedly paintable. Silver or different color?

It looks like the tweeter bezel is brushed aluminum. What about trying to match that for the switch covers?

What's wheel #2 look like?

the trim frame needs to be chrome. the face with the#s should be brushed alum like the guages the switch's chrome or a stain silver like the guage face's. the rest of the dash is blue and chrome stay with it. the wheel is good but what is #2 like?

do believe they make the trim indicator "face cards" in silver/aluminum appearance. the bezel needs to be whatever most exactly matches the guage rims...chrome or "polished" appearance, whichever.

the plastic rocker's can be painted, good prep, an adhesion promoter and thin coats of a rattle can that matches closely, or consult vendor for chrome taps that are chrome pigment throughout. no worries aboaut finish durability that way.

These details are the things that make the difference for me personally on anybody's "custom" boat build.

Thanks for the open mindedness Pat.

Agree on the trim bezel and buttoms. Need to be chrome. The wheel is good. I like the style Jeff is getting on his NT. The carbon fiber dash looks really sharp in person.

don't get me wrong it doesn't look bad the way it is. the white rockers and indicator panel does tie that area of "operating and adjusting" the boat together, and works well with the white print on the panels...I just think you could test-drive taking the appearance one step farther...

polished bezels around the keyswitches, or go with "start buttons" in a matching guage theme. eliminating the black halon panel/ go with the inprint on the dash panel and just the indicator light in it's midst. One more cheap-looking black plastic piece gone. whats in the exteme lower right hand corner?

I'm a stickler for details that's all. and have particular tastes like anyone else

How's the 33 run with HO's? 82-83?

I would also spec a tilt helm...

If i was of a mind to procure a faster, harder-core looking, custom build boat than my 353 that is.
