well, one at a time.

Toyed with the idea of the 33AT. Really want something more old school in appearance. The AT has that, an awesome cabin, and tall freeboard
but with the cockpit pushed back ala old school...it makes the sunpad kinda short?

I guess you can't have it all. For me right now the Formula divides the space up very well and is very comfortable everywhere.

ok i spent all day yesterday reading every post ever written on the 37. i think im liking the 37. ive gone though alsmost every brand and change my mind every month but the more i read on the ATs the more i like them. the only problem i have found with the 37(i have not been in one yet) is that you people dont seem to want to sell them since there are only 3 or 4 for sale. im not looking yet but as ive seen not many pop up. but what is not to like. ill tell you what i want. size undecided, speed over 80, big cabin(overnight alot), great paint, good lines, good ride for the hudson and some shore running. the AT has it all. i think for this month i have found a brand i think i might stick too. so when it is time im going to hunt down you guys. thanks for all the info on the 33 and 37.

Hi Sdywayz,

Any chance you could also send me the boat show price for the Savage? 496HO, XR, Standard exhaust [email protected]. If you are too busy, not a problem!

Thanks,

Tom

I under estimated you.
Ill check back with you next month and see if you dumb it up by changing your mind. The 33 would be a great boat for you IMO.

I’ve pretty much come to the same conclusion. I’m actually toying with the idea of building a 37 with HO’s, CMI headers, and XR’s. Obviously if I could afford to build a 525 boat I would. But the 496 boat will cost half the money to insure and I bet will be better on gas at cruise where we spend most of our time. Conditions around here are such that it is very seldom when you can really air the boat out SAFELY and comfortably so the extra mph at WOT is not important to me.

Of course the biggest question is resale down the road. Is this a big enough concern to not consider this motor package?

I would (and do) definitely consider that package as a potential when looking at used boats. Mid 70's is very respectible with that package and that size boat. May even run upper 70's with the headers!!
