P.S. Again..... On the 4 blades my drive guys (and TnT) felt comfortable running 100 hrs. before doing drive maintance ------ w/ the 5 blades it cut in half (seriously). Something to consider.

P.S. I set up a Fed-Ex Shipping account and my shipping costs to Florida (2 pallets w/ one drive on each) was only right at $300 bucks each way (insured for 20k). It's significantly cheaper w/ less insurance.

I ran the Maximus on my Fountain for 127 hrs. without any drive issues and they were Bravo 1 drives (not XRs) but i did have some vibration getting on plane. I didn't realize that could be a problem.

Mark,

I just got off the phone with Brett. He is got a theory on the labbed 32’s.

Joe,

I understand the theory behind boxes and trim. I thought the same thing. That is why Roy’s boat was great after he dialed it in. He is the original pitch master, along with drive height master, spacer master, shorty master...

I am going to Roy for some tutelage...

Joe,
P.S. For the record ---- they were in PERFECT condition when we put them on the boat. Clark can share "the end of the story!"

That is one of the worst problems....

I hear the stock Max's vibrate nearly as bad as the B1 34's. However, after having them worked on, the Max's are extremely smooth (on my boat).

MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL...oops I MEAN DEPTH FINDER!!
Lucky it was just silt/muck/mud from what my sources say.
Thats why it ran so fast afterwards..because the roughness probably abled them wheels to aireate(sp) and loosen up or maybe bite more.
Some people pay big bucks at spas to get that mud treatment.
Oh! and by the way ..I believe the box idea works well also. Thunder Roys boat was a testament to that and it handled GREAT no matter what PAT thought.

I didnt hit anything. I was at idle and when we got stuck in the mud. I got out and pushed and had someone pull us to deeper water. The props got a couple of blemishes. Ran the fastest afterwards!!!

Plus, It was bound to happen after you talking about those props so much...
