Default 25 AT 1998 w/ 502

Hey guys, I just spent the last hour or so reading all of the old posts, but my Brother is looking at a 1998 25 Tantrum with a 502. has trailer and is a freshwater boat, not sure about hydraulic steering yet or exact hours, but lets assume 300 hours. Comes with a trailer and nice tubular swim platform.

From my research it seems low to mid 30's to be a fair price, but looking for the experts opinions. Thanks, DK

Default Be careful

That is a 9 year old boat, look at the motor and drive, low 30's that will need work could end up being high 40's.. My brother just lost a powerhead on a 300 merc with 7 total hours..not a cheap fix. Not saying it is not a good deal but look at motor carefully..

I've seen people asking low 30's. I've seen them as high as $50K.

Real money................I wouldn't pay any more than $27K

IMO a 98 25 with a 502 mag is worth low 30's easily IF it is clean and mechanically sound.
