Eggbeaters, anyone?
We are discussing a triple engine 37 with 300 Mercs and a huge cockpit with 4 electric bolsters and a rear 3-person back seat for the Miami Show.
320 Gals of fuel. Simple but usable cabin with enclosed electric head and shower. BIG icebox and lotsa seating. optional AC to plug in at the dock in Bimini.
Opinions/ ideas/ takers?
Call me!

So what do you think about an offshore monster like I described?
It will go anywhere in any any water, FAST!

In my OPINION that will not be a good show boat because it is not main stream enough. People want to see 525EFI's and 700SCI's in today’s market. I am a big fan of Verados but they are for CC's. Now if you want to build a 37 AVH CC, which is an idea and a hot market. Plus I have already told you that I want to build a show boat! Bryan is going to sell mine in Destin this weekend anyway!
Thats my .02. You asked...

I totally agree with Clark on the "not being a show boat"
I also do not see where you can use the word "fast" with that design idea. 3 eggbeaters will be right at a 1902#s and a pair of 525's/drives are 2400-2500#s and only working in the basic low 81-82 range without high dollar prop testing and exotic pricey props to get the higher and exciting speeds from what I've been involved with.
Reggie with his light boats and your neighbor down the street at Midnight with his heavy boat can't get them to run fast with triples or even quads.
But with a B-bracket/JackPlate you can at least adjust the X-deminsion. oops..sorry
BUT what I really feel will be a possible new market is a sportboat like the 28 Concept with that nostalgic Miami Vice appeal.
So build a 28AT with some BadBoy eggbeaters. Now that would be a FAST FAST boat!!! And a tough one for any type water. And the weight and the balance of that length and weight boat would probably work better because of the shorter arm.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!!

I have to agree. A 28 Savage with a bracket, no transom well and a small sun pad area at the stern is the way to go. Hang twin opti's or Verado's and you will have a nice compliment to the stern drive boat!

Didn't you build a 32AT once for a guy in Texas with outboards?
If so how did it perform?
I have always liked the 28s your boy Jay built with O.B.s

I would think it would have a market, albeit limited, in costal areas. I would make the move from stern drive to OB if I boated in salt water and having an offshore offering that wasn't a CC would be of interest to me.
