Question Questions about Tantrum

Ok here are some things I haven`t been able to figure out..

The toggle switch underneath this "cover" what is its purpose? I guess when I know that I`ll know what position it should be in or if it even makes any difference

Secondly,

What used to be here?? A light? The hole in the middle is siliconed shut.

And I think theres black helicopters following me cause I found this hidden away under the seat.. black box with antenna, made by Guest Co. model 293 C . Googles turned up

nothing.

Actually now that i think about it, the black box and 4 holes may be connected.. possibly a remote control light.. seems like that`s what Guests makes.

I may have solved my own mystery

You're scaring me with that toggle switch question.....Try running with it down and see if it makes any difference.

I`m sorry.. so its a stupid question I take it? I feel dumb. It`s my first boat and it didn`t come with a manual.. it was down, I flipped it up.. made no diff.

Safety shut off?

I`m a car nut boats are new to me.

thanx

You would have gotten a better answer if you would have had a little background scenery like you used to post!

But, yes, kill switch. Now you might want to take a look at it and see why it doesn't 'kill'.

So does this mean no lanyard either?

ICED, my kill switch didn't work either when I bought my boat. It was a simple fix. I think a wire was loose.

those screw holes on the deck are an after-thought and probably related to your little black box. However I just can't imagine a remote spot light mounted there....yuk.

Actually a single lanyard hanging around one's neck might work as well! The possibilities are endless.
