proper set up.. and this is where RIK comes in. Even though the ASD-7's are designed to be a direct bolt in to the breakable bravo's, the design characteristics are far different then the Pulse that Harry designed. The bottom design on the AVH A.T. is a excellent design, the Pulse, I'm not a fan of.. I'll just leave it at that. It has it's applications, but not on that particular hull. It never is as easy as stated, so dialing in on the first one will be essential.. I know the 38 Formula took a while..great success.. but have been on two hustlers with these drives, and am sold.
I believe, and this would be my set up if I were to do another A.T. ... In a 37 ..Custom 598 CI Naturally asperated Eddie Young motor producing 725-750 hp and some ASD-7's. or the 43 .. superchaged version 850hp and same ASD-7 drives.

i did a set of motors that are in the boatfreaks 32 aactive thunder and they made 640. the boat ran 92 with 2 people and 3/4 tank of fuel. i feel with prop work we could see 3 or 4 more. So that said i would think 700 aside would get you close. As for the boat handling the speed i rode in Mike Patrones 32 with 1100 a side, boat had stand off boxes and was a none notched transom boat and i saw 122 on the gps about 10 different times and the boat was on rails. Talking about get there fast i have yet to feel a boat go from 60 to 110 as fast as that boat did that was not a drag boat.
