Nice 37 AT in classifieds with a set of 850's for 65K seems like a smoking deal. If i could swing it i would but the whole 2 boat things so far doesnt really let me never mind 3!

Its not an AVH and with 800hp and and Bmaxes, runs about the same speeds as Rollin Thunder does with 500efi's. Most would prefer the reliabilty of stock power and more efficient hull. Not to mention the fuel savings with 500efi's over 800hp blower engines.

But the savings of 15-20k depending on what the 98 could be had for.

Engine rebuilds and Bmax rebuilds would eat up that 15-20k in a big hurry. I'm not even saying its a bad deal for the 1998 straight bottom 37, because its not. There are just too many what if's on it.
Its just a smokin deal on Outlawmark's 2000 37AVH and the one I would prefer.

It's in the mid 5' range depending on the year. You will not find over 6' unless you get into a Black Thunder.

yea i have looked at the black thunders... haven't' been in one on the water yet...love the room and from what I've found out, the perform pretty well too plus the girlfriend likes all the amenities, but hooooly crap they're huge. the price on this AT got my attention that's why I was wondering about the room in the cabin.

03 and older 37's with side entry 5'1-2" center entry add 1".. 04 and newer with the new deck was 2" taller at it's highest useable space. If you are wanting around 6' headroom, you will have to wait for the new model.... 39..A.T. if you can't wait the 43 Nor-tech is at 6'2" at the kitchen area, and head, and 5'4" at the v-berth. Black Thunder is out of business, no customer support. Had problems with some of there earlier 46 bottoms in step placement, which created a rocking effect forward and back trying to get past the first step..
