Question BoatUS towing

Anyone use them? It seems almost too good to be true.. $34 annually for unlimited fresh water towing plus a $25 membership fee.
In the Chicago area they`ll come out within a 75 mile radius..
Seems like really cheap insurance.
With tows as expensive as they are...I`m trying to figure out the catch

I bought the Boat US towing coverage last year for $170. First day out on LI Sound my new sea strainer didn't work and the impeller fried. Would have been a $450 tow, but instead I just gave the guy a $30 tip. I will definitely be renewing.

Default BoatUS Towing

OCDACTIVE,

We know that keeping up a boat can be expensive, so I wanted to let you know that BoatUS has options for both on the water towing as well as roadside assistance for your trailer. Is this what you were interested in?

Also, here is a link also to where our TowBoatUS and Vessel Assist ports can be found.

Hope this helps.
