Default 33 Evolution

A.T. Forum

I have a few questions regarding the 33 Evolution, which seems to be the perfect mid size/lake boat I've come across. My questions are as follows. What are the major differences between the heads on a center cabin entry Evolution and a side cabin entry Evolution? Exactly how much room does the cabin have for over-nighting, how comfortably can it actually sleep two persons? Lastly, how does the sun-pad compare in size with other boats its size, can it fit 1 or 2 adults comfortably? I know these questions may seem generic,or basic, but they are things about the boat which I've wondered for some time now. Any descriptions or photos of any of these three would be greatly appreciated. Thanks' for your time and patience.

Josh,
Go to the classified boat listing under AT of course and click on the add for the 2012 33 Evolution, then click on the link to the Pat's website, select 33 Evolution and you'll find several pictures which should give you an idea of what you get. I believe Tony's 33 is also a center entry cabin as is mine. If I can help with anything' just let me know! Just a little warning, don't talk to that guy that owns Remedy, he's dilutional and will try and talk you into a side entry because that's what he has. After he saw mine, he realized what a mistake he made, but he'll never admit it publicly

I've got a bunch of dimensions back in my office. I'll get them posted.

The head in the 33 and 37 side entry are the same. It's over 5' in ceiling height as you are standing in the deepest part of the boat. You have room to do a little dance in there.

On a center entry boat, you basically back into the commode.

IMHO it would be cool to have the side entry without the side by side bolsters. Has this been done? Is there room in front of a bolster for getting in and out?
I love the dash on the side entry boats.

but the boat in general as you crouch in feels and looks much larger, entering through the center of the boat..and for us old guys bending down less is easier..

I have had two AT's both with center entry, and have been on alt of the side entry boats, there are benefits to both, so it is a give and take. Go with what you like the best, they are both GREAT boats!
