I would love to get my hands on a Savage with twins. Just a great sized boat with bulletproof power.

Those are great numbers for the twins, whats the fuel capacity? Is it 100 gallons like the singles? How much more weight with twins?

i would think twin outboards would weigh about the same or even less as long as they where 2stroke's , the merc, 250 & 300 xs motor's weigh around 510 lbs each so that would be 1020 lbs for both motor's + the weight for the bracket, oil tank's and steering . i no 1 big block weigh's more then 1200 lb's complete with drive ect,
not sure what a complete small block package weigh's ,
except for small block outboards

with that # twin outboards look like the way to go , save Almost 1000lbs off the back of the boat.
