Default 37 Props

What are you guys running on the 37's with lets say - 650hp a side. Mine has 31p bravo 1's on it. I also have a set of 31p Hydro's I will probably try just to see what happens. Any suggestions - this will give me something to think about while not so patiently waiting........

Labbed Bravo 1's 32 pitch, stock 525s The cult leader says it's the right wheel for the job. I have to really work at it to get on the rev limiter but good cruise

Flenner - are you running XR's? Are you worried about your prop slip numbers being to low with the 5 blades?

Yes Flenner is running XRs. I would think you would do well with a good set of labbed 30 pitch Maximus. The 525 boats do well with a set of 28's. I doubt you will have to worry about a low slip number. My guess is the boat has a fairly high X so I would think you would see slip numbers in the low 20s with 4 blades. I really like my 34 Bravos but they are really hard to get on plane so I went to a set of 33 P5X Hydros.

I don't know if you can pry them out of his hands but Activeshack (Mark) has a set of 30s that might work for you.

Actually, my drives are stock Bravo's. slip numbers are 16% in the midrange which is good for cruising and not killing the drives. I do have a very high X-dimension. Going on four years with these drives. Getting ready to pull them apart in the next two weeks to do my yearly inspection and get ready to run some poker runs.
