Default Tantrum Finally Ready

Finally have the new motor broken in and tuned on my 96 tantrum. I bought a rebuilt 454 with 0 hours of another OSO member. Motor was built with all Quality parts. No dyne numbers but should be in the low 400's. Spun a 21p rev4 to 5200 rpm's at 62.5 mph. Roughly the same number with a 21 mirage( not plus) I'm thinking a 23 mirage plus will be the best fit. Any thoughts based on my numbers.

Cool ! Sounds close to me, I came up with a 10% slip, but I would still try the 23. Maybe evan a 22p B1

A friend of mine actually has one that I am going to try out today. Are you looking to sell yours?

Confused.... Tried the 23p mirage and got the same exact reading as 21p rev4 and 21p mirage. Thinking tach may be off so I ordered a new one. What am I missing here they only time I got a different reading was with a 25 mirage. I got 4800 rpm's but got the same top end. Speed is measured with a garmin.

If the 23 is labbed and the 21 is stock, you get get pretty close to the same numbers. Diameter could be diff too if the 23 was nicked and someone filed it down.
