We are designing and patterning the stringer and bulkheads, The pictures are the #2 boat. I needed to redesign the fuel cell so that we would have at least 130 gallons with the twin outboards. The 28 Savage was 100 gallons which is plenty with a single I/O but pushing the envelope with twins. Based on our measurements and drawings, the fuel cell engineer at Ezell states:
The actual, internal volume of this tank model comes to 151 US Gallons. After the EPA-mandated ullage (air space) requirements, you are down to ~143 US Gallons, or somewhere in the neighborhood of ~139 gallons, if you are a member of the ABYC and/or NMMA (since they have additional requirements above and beyond the base EPA requirements)
This is adequate. Plus I really wanted one single cell instead of twins like the bigger boats.
