Default Sommer 2015 has begun...

Hit the Big Pond on Saturday...46 degrees out! Pat...that is like 1/2 the temperature you are used to! Your Miller Lite probably isn't even that cold! Boat ran great...freshened 525s courtesy of teamsynergy. New valve springs, retainers, gaskets, and a new set of rockers in one motor (found a cracked bearing on one, so bought a whole new set of Teagues). Oh...also...some welded up CMIs...when we pulled them, we found pinholes on three of the four (only one was questionably serious, as it was by the collector). Got them patched up and pressure tested...and good to go.

Rolling down to the swamp next Wednesday for the Tickfaw Two Hunnert! Gotta get her shined up!

Hopefully we run across you somewhere on the 200, been waiting years to see a late model 37 AT in person.

Oh...I'm guessing there is a high likelihood we will be in the Sun Buns neighborhood on Friday for the bikini contest...lol.

We will be running with Craig and Patti again...following them around, anyway.

Yeah, I'm hoping to make it over there Friday also. Drive safe coming down.

You got it! Spent 5 hours on it over the past two days...even waxed the underside of the engine hatch.

Be careful with those headers. Once they crack, they only keep cracking. Mine cracked 3 years in a row causing two new top ends and a lot of downtime. Got Stainless Marine headers on there now and have had 2 years of trouble free boating.

They weren't cracked anywhere...just rusted with pinhole leaks.
