iS ANYONE RUNNING MERC HP500 IN THERE 31,WHAT KIND OF SPEED ,IS IT ENOUGH POWER TO PUSH IT THRU THE PORPOISE?HAVE 31 WORE OUT BLOWER MOTORS THINKING ABOUT REPOWERING WITH FRESH MERC HP500EFI,HAVE IMCO LOWERS,EASIER TO INSURE

what year and depends on your x dimension
the 2000 and newer hulls were built lighter and typically run 100 to 105mph with the HP 500s. the older ones ran 96 to 98 mph and yes you can get through the porpus
suggest you run a tunnel tab.

Yes thanks for noticing. Ran 136 MPH to win the C2P2 class for twin engines 28 to 31 ft cats with blower motors.
