sea strainers

Default sea strainers

i have a 31ao. there was never any sea strainers in this boat as far as i can tell. does anyone have any suggestions on where to install them and will any size strainers work with high speeds and drive pick ups.

you don't need the great big ones... I would say either right in front of the engines or between them, you want them somewhere easy to inspect and clean or open to use a hose and run the engine on.

Default Strainers

Just finished a pair of 5" Teague strainers on a 31AO. Mounted on the top of the stringers, just in front of the sea pumps. Worked out great, easy to access and look trick!
Call me for a parts list and prices.

don, curtis thanks for your help.
curtis do you have any pics of what you did. im tring to keep everything neat and not have hoses run all over. and if you have a parts list i would like to have it, if that is ok. thanks again.
