Just a little update for any that might be interested. Decided to venture into unknown territory of prop mods for our boats since no prop shop seems to have any real data for us to use. B_lades tuned up my Merc labbed 32's and added a "rake adjustment" in addition to cutting 1/2" off the diffuser ring at my request. Normally my Mercury experiences were the props come back looking better than new; these, not so much. They did run 3 mph faster top end than before but took about 3-4 seconds longer to get on plane (cavitation) and have almost no stern lift without the diffuser ring. When boating flat out on smooth water this combo would probably be pretty close to perfect. I'm in the process of adding cup to another set and leaving the diffuser ring to see if that might be better for rough water comfort
