Not a Chris, AO or Awesome. At least from the perspective of hull design. Look at the transom shot. Pad is very different. I have seen the boat around before (the paint work). Just don't know where.

Looks alot like Sparky's Vicious Cat ? Maybe he knows what it is. It has those extentions on the tips like an Ocean X but the rest is something else. Could be one of 'Clems Gems' ...............

Now that is funny. Don't think the Vicious Cat had such a deep pad. Sorta reminds me of a West Coast Cat builder like Eliminator. Perhaps Sparky will chime in.

Looks really good but I don't think it is an AO. As rotax pointed out no AOs ever had a pad in the center of the tunnel. Also the rear of the sponsons are notched. never did that on a 3100. If I had a Hull Id number I could confirm

All of Sparks hulls are accounted for so it's not a Vicious.

If you cant Id it, the Owners not sure and the tags are painted over its could be a Awsome.

Good eye Quest. Didn't see the notch. Look closely at the pic. Looks like a notched transom. Could this boat be an early Superboat racing hull? I know, pic shows an OB. Doesn't mean Superboat didn't play around with that design on their IO race hull. In any case, you guys are right, get the hull ID # and go from there.

Motors are MD 510/800 n/a with SSM 4s and a notched transom. This boat should run 120-125 maybe more. Unless it sells over the winter, Andy says he'll take it to Florida in the Spring and run it.

Then as EXIDE here in Harrison Mi. then it was Humes boat and also raced as PEPPERS before that. I did alot of fibergalss on Hume's boat . If this is the same.

There was a big ownership-warranty war going on back then, it was one of Clem's Gems that needed some reinfocing for the racing riggors, as some may remember ............... Bob Stack steered it when it was EXIDE, I have some old pics from Chicago when it was EXIDE D9 ............. CYA
