Texas outlaw Challange Shootout

Over 135 boats registered. I won the C2P2 class with my 3100 American Offshore at 141 MPH. Top Gun was Kenny Mungle with a speed of 171 mph with his 32 skater with twin 1500 HP motors.

congrats... what kind of horsepower do you have? and drives?

twin 502 s with whiple chargers and B Max outdrives on 12 inch standoff boxes approximately 850 HP each engine

must be a light layup 31 to run that number my 1997 wont go that fast

light layup. no wedge in tunnel, imco extension boxes, 24 inch long tunnel tab, 33 pitch herring 5 blade props

you were the first person to run 125 MPH in a AO 3100. That was spectacular at that time.

my wedge is gone also 950 hp 32 4 blades 1.36 bravos on boxes 6700 rpm 129.6 best it will go its at the wall. how high is the x dim on that boat

prop shaft is 1.75 inches above bottom of sponsons.
b max drives with 1.19 ratio
33 pitch 15.5 inch diameter herring 5 blade with 1/2 inch of trim ring removed. 142 mph at 6000 rpm
x dimension too high to pick up sufficient water so I have to use offshore pickups on back of transom
slight positive trim which is 5 on mechanical indicators. tunnel tab has tapered sides to trap air when flat and is flat with top of tunnel above 115 mph.( actually 1 inch above top of tunnel but parallel with it.
hp approximately 850. single 1150 cfm dominator on 3.3 whipple charger and 10 psi boost
