Byrd has owned and sold both Star Chaser and Daddy Cool WOW ... Both rigs are boats a lot of folks, I wouldn't hesitate to say, might die for!

hes owned a lot of nice hardware and let it go...however i think jc would know what he has now or papache. but i am sure byrd will always have a prime machine

Last time I saw that boat it was at a small boat show, 2000 timeframe, here in NJ. The boat didn't have SSM#6's on it and looked like it had a broken stringer near the transom on the port side. At the time it had motors with the kinsler injection but it looked like it was ready for an overhaul.

By any chance were you running off Sandy Hook on Wenesday evening??

Here are some of the pics of my 41 Apache, the original "Star Chaser". When I purchased the boat in south Jersey just over three years ago, it was stripped of everything but the two forward fuel tanks. The #6 speedmasters, trim tabs and four rear fuel tanks came with the hull. Engines are injected 598 ci and dyno at 890 HP on 93 octane fuel. Boat has run 102 on gps with 100+ gallons of fuel.
