I think the deck is way cool, I'm just not sure about that extended body line, is it for function or looks. I know w paint it will look different, maybe Mark can shed some light on it...regardless it will be great to see if finished.

The extended body line is also on the 47's. It is a result of stretching a hull and the transom getting shorter.

That thing is huge! To me, if you put the ribs on the deck and squared off the cockpit fairing it would be absolutely perfect. As for the extended body lines, my 45 has them, but they are not as pronounced and mine don't wrap around onto the transom. I am guessing that they are more visible and appear to drop down a little lower on the 50 because of the extra length. Here are a couple pics of my 45 that show the body line. The blue line that goes from the bow to the stern on my boat follows this body line.

Before I bought my 36' Comanche I looked at Slinshot's 42' Comanche that was rigged for tripple drivetrains. It had the transom redone by McManus and it looked like the one on the new 50. Very Nice!

It's a brave new world and the new 50' Apache reflects that. Fresh new lines, padded keel, constructed with the best materials available. By craftsmen that know how to apply them properly. I enjoy the pics as it comes together, and can't wait for the finished product.
