Yeah the area was soft when I got the boat 3 years ago. It is underneath the deck.

Nice boat.

If theres a soft spot in the floor then the wood is probobly rotted out in that spot, which is pretty easy to get to. I've seen this on a 87 sea ray and even a 99 28 pantera. The pantera was stored outside, which allowed a lot of water to sit on the floor and the sea ray was used for water sports, which is probobly the case here. I think it was maybe $500-1000 to put in new wood on the 21ft sea ray, probobly twice that to glass it in. IMO a small repair for such a pretty boat.

Thanks The previous owner didn't keep up with it too much. I have made it such a nice boat. It's really clean. I just don't use it anymore. It is a easy fix and doesn't need to be replaced anytime soon. You never touch it unless you're crawling underneath the deck.

Is this thing still for sale? Do you have any pictures of under the deck or with the bench seat in the back?

Looks like a fun boat, just not sure how well it will take a lake Michigan pounding being so low to the water...

I have a 21 and ran michigan this year out of milwaukee, WI. Yes you have to pick and choose your days but you would be surprised how well it handles.

It is still for sale. Here are a bunch of new pics I'd rather sell without power at this point, I want to put my motor on a talon or skater
