Default Scout for sale ..Craigslist

Hi Guys, I can't believe this boat is still available as I saw this originally on the weekend and then it disappeared for a few days, now it's back.

Having said this I may be slitting my own throat since I am still sitting on the fence sort of thing because it almost seems too good to be true. If it's in even reasonable shape it's a steal.

Anyone have any information about this one, it's a 12-13 hour drive one way for me so I may lose out in a race if no one else has picked up on this one but what the Heck !!! at least I can help somone else if not myself.

Take Care

Bruce

It has bottom paint, that may deter some.

WHY----WHY----WHY would anybody bottom paint that???????? The only reason (besides being just plain stupid) is that it sat in the water all the time. not good

It comes off with some careful sanding, easy enough.

I just saw the boat.
It still needs help.
I was thinking 4-5k would be a fun toy if it looked good enough and ran well enough.
If you can do the work yourself... its another story. I know i can't. Maybe my standards are too high.
