My top gun has side by side engine set up, but I am actually after the staggered hatches, just think they look cooler.

Would you have the measurements by any chance? mainly the length.

8 ft but can be shortened

Beau is worth waiting for. Solid guy. Glassdave also does this work. I can't imagine you couldn't get them done more affordably around home. The freight would be horrific. I bought a vintage motorcycle engine in New Zealand and the freight was $600.

There's no magic to these things. They're just flat with some angles here & there and a lip on the bottom. I can get you detailed pics of the one's on my Cig if it would help you at all.

I am still waiting for my guys (Joker) to get their new shop situated and can get some figures for you but yes they are pretty basic. I would make a set out of some 3/4" nidacore and then glass over it for added strength. Maybe put a couple stringers inthem so you can still walk on them.
