boat was a tender for this yacht: http://www.boatinternational.com/yac...-bull-for-sale

Owner died last year at age 72, both vessels are on the market. Guy had several Cigs/Apaches over the years. Money was no object on maintenance obviously.

Having never seen the boat in person but working on private yachts, if it was taken care of like all the tenders we had, and the other yachts had, I am sure it was maintained with an open cheque book. And that boat is sick!

I think it got reduced to 24mm now. The yacht is very well used, 300,000 nautical miles on it (all owner, never chartered). That yacht has been everywhere over the past 17 years. But being that Forbes' yacht Highlander was also a Feadship (10 years older/20 ft shorter but less hours/miles) and only fetched about 5mm then 24mm won't happen for BB.

Agreed, I could see it going for low teens, but even that would be a stretch. There are a ton of boats out there newer, more well known, and the same size for the money. However, hours and nautical miles mean little depending on how it was cared for. The boat I used to work on in Lauderdale I just went to visit, and they are in the middle of $750k yard period. So it really depends on how well it was maintained. Also the old style stern is not a big seller now unless the buyer really loves it. Most would choose a full new style tri deck with a large swim platform over that design.
