'Insane warrior' was kept on a lift next to 'up your ante' at my dad's place in the early 90's... It did have Greys and blues as I recall... 'Up your ante' was mostly white with red, black, and gold... I am trying to figure out how to post a picture but I am struggling with doing it from my iPad...

The "Up Your Ante" 1988 41 Apache is a long time friend of mines boat. This Apache was the first offshore boat I was ever on in 95. The boat was originally ordered by Todd Owens. The Apache was then sold to George Gill in Oklahoma. My buddy John DeRay who we call "Tweet" bought the boat in Dec. of 94" and still owns today. The google searched picture in a previous post was a picture from John Cassatto website ipaintfx who was the artist who painted this Apache and also painted a 5' exact Apache RC replica. The Apache is still beautiful today and has always been ridiculously pampered. Tweet's Apache was named The Afton Express after a Towing and Auto body business he's owned for over 50yrs. and later a small edition to the name "Tweet's Revenge". It's a McManus Apache, full pleasure, Kevlar hull. Twin Pat Musi 572's built in 2000 and rebuilt in 2010. Crower cranks, Corrillo rods, Edelbrock heads, Jesel rockers, Nickerson 1050 carbs. Stellings dry exhaust. Speedmaster #3 drives, 10 plate transmissions, 3 blade cleavers. This Apache and John are legendary offshore to the New Jersey coast. I often thank him and or blame him for my offshore passion.

Does anyone know what happened to an Apache called 'up your ante'? It was owned by Todd and Sally Owen and was kept in Maryland and Florida in the early 90's... Todd made a very big impact on my life back then... My dad owned a marina near annapolis and the boat was kept there during the summers... I lost touch with Todd when I went to college and he passed away before I could tell him how much he had impacted my life... He was a great man and was one of the early innovators of poker runs, especially on the Chesapeake bay... I would love to know what happened to the 41 that I spent so many hours working and riding on with 'Mr. Todd'... It's been two decades but I still miss his friendship and that incredible boat... Any information would be appreciated... Thanks, Scott
