it has been bothering me all day actually. After losing three good friends on a 36 skater in 2002, and now this I really just sat back and thought if i really need to have a cat? i stared at my boat for 2 hrs tonight liking the fact that i haven't got rid of it. If i had a cat would i respect the speed? if its there you want to test it and cats aren't forgiving?

Something a few of us have pondered. I agree, it is a case of can you learn to respect the speed.

Really makes you think.

Default wise choice

I 've stuffed a lot of boats but now I have grand children and a sport fish. the desire is always there but the brain has counted my odds. I am rethinking the cat idea too

Seems to me the tough thing is that last weekends accident was with a guy driving who obviously knew how to run at high speeds. Thats a little scary.

Thats a fact.

Seems to me a good boat builder would let there boats do the talking, not try to ride the coattails of other peoples work. You can call me a Cretin all you want, but I have never posted anything on this board that is false. Prove me wrong, tell me what I have posted that is false. Fact is you can't. Any of the old school owners of Apaches know the truth.
cudos to carl.its amazing the things people will say or do and the time they spend doing it to be something or someone other than themselves.
