Default automatic Fire extinguishing system

Green light of fire ext.. system is on even when ignition is off. (Seems it's been installed on the battery circuit)

Is it supposed to be connected on the ignition circuit?

Yes. You should not see the indicator with the engine off.
My "88 Formula F-206 has the HALON system with the indicator light. Mine is off when the engine is turned off. But that doesn't mean the the system is inop. It will still discharge when power is off.

Actually, two problems that probably makes the battery dead after a week...

The Halon, I don't think it should be connected directly to the battery, I'l change that.

The other problem, I was in the garage listening to the music while enjoying the new rig and suddenly, the monoxide detector in the cabin started buzzing for no apparent reason... Think I'l have to change the unit.

The combination of those two are probably the reason for discharged battery.
