Default 500 EFI blower motors

I have a 1999 32 fountain fever with 50 hours on 500 efi blower motors with aluminum heads. The motors were rebuilt by a professional marine speed shop and have blower pistons, whipple chargers, aluminum heads, etc. The motors have been dynoed in the upper 700hp range. The engines run great at mid to upper power ranges. However, at idle the engines seem to be running rich and want to kill all the time under 800 rpm (at lowest throttle position they want to idle around 650). When they kill I need to open the throttle 1/4-1/2 of the way to restart even though they have EFI setups. I am going to change the plugs and hope this solves the problem. I just bought the boat three weeks ago and have put about 10 hours on the boat. thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't have forced air experience but I always tthought a 800rpm idle on a Hi Pro motor was fine.

You might have a bad IAC, do a search, there are a number of threads on how to trouble shoot this.
