Default I hope you guys got home ok.

We made a cruise by the "lunch crowd" in Michigan City today. We didn't stay except tp say hi. We wanted to make sure a club member who shall remane nameless (except fpr that #1 that he fought so had for) found the open fuel dock before he ran out of gas. They did.

We then pulled the boat out and towed it home. As we were pulling in the driveway we hear an alert that there is a severe thunderstorm crossing the southern lake.
I hope you guys got back to Hammond ok.

Thanks Mark,
Made it back just fine there was a good lightning show out over the lake, but we never got wet. The rest of the crew I heard made it in just before the down pour.

Take care

Mark

Wished I coulda made it. Got out on the lake about an hour before Kaama and his buddy came out of the channel at St Joe. Boat was running great. Then I drove with them for a while, maybe five minutes max, and my starboard engines oil pressure gage started bouncing around. I shut it down and idled back to St Joe. Once in the breakwall, I started it back up and all seemed ok. I'll probably be putting it away for the winter next weekend after I check the bouncing needle.

Everyone made it home safely. Bob Z sounds like he got the worst of the storm. His friend broke another Bravo drive trying to beat the storm back to Hammond. He made sure Brad, "Anger Management", got into burns ditch safely before continuing to Hammond. I think Bob had a front row seat for the light show unfortunately. It's good to know I boat with people that watch out for each other. Way to go Bob!

Payton aka Mark,
We missed seeing you guys. Thanks for the phone call checking on us. Thanks for keeping an eye on #1. This would have been a very bad day to have someone run out of gas.

Fred,
Sorry you couldn't make it. Hope it's just a malfunctioning gauge.
Dan

I'm glad to hear that everyone got back OK, wet and broken but OK.

That was quite a ride home. Between watching the storms we were headed into and almost taking a sea gull in the head it was exciting.

I'm glad all you guys got home safe. I think those sea gulls knew something was comeing. I just about hit one also.
It turned out to be a good thing we left when we did. The storm was building fast as we were getting off I65. My headlights came on maybe 5 minutes before we got off. That was when I noticed I had no trailer lights . It was nice to be so close to home and just starting to get dark when I found that out.

Doug and Kaama, you guys do ok?
