Hey Chris,

Do you launch out of the free launch next to Gullies or does Gullies have there own launch? What is the Brass Anchor? How long of a ride from one to the other?I was thinking of going out of Haverstraw Marine on Sunday.

There is the free ramp next to Gully's, that I use ........

The Brass Anchor is in Poughkeepsie just past the mid-hudson bridge on the right.. basically new/beac bridge to mid-hud bridge approx 15-20 minutes cruising.

It a nice place, they have a pretty good brunch from 12-3.

I have used that ramp once, about 8 years ago.People have told me to watch leaving truck in lot.Lots of not so nice people around there.Does the ramp have a drop off and is it long enough to get the boat back on the trailer at low tide.I"m ordering parts for my boat now,if they come in before friday I would like to at least maybe cruise with you,if you dont mind.

Thanks Anthony

I don't want to Jinx myself but I leave my truck/trailer, truck/jet ski, car, boat all the time and never had a problem, I even left the door to my wifes explorer wide open (literally) while changing one day w/ a 5,000 heart defib. in the back.

As far as the ramp goes,, I have never seen anybody have a problem and I have never had a problem at any tide w/ my 288, it's actually a very descent ramp considering...

af for Sunday,, Like I said I will probably launch around 11am and head North to the brass anchor, the more the merrier...

Are the docks still in at torches? This time of year it gets tough to find docks and fuel. My boat has been put to bed but my friend and his spector might want to go.

What time are you guys meeting there? Might cruise up in my second yacht, a ten foot inflatable that does not need to be shipped to Florida. <gg>

Ok Guys,

I winterized boat during the week, waiting for parts that will not come till next Tuesday and now every one wants to go play this weekend,ok I'm in.I'll just have to rig up an oil tank tomorrow flush motors back out and I'll be there.I did want to try out a different pair of props so that also will be a good reason to go.I may not do lunch but I'll go for the cruise.Let me know if you guys are a definite before I waste 5.00 in antifreeze.
Thanks Anthony
