Closed cooling PSI
I am planning to convert to a Meziere electric pump for the recirculating coolant side of my closed cooling.
I have be communicating with the Meziere factory regarding PSI of their pumps. I know what the maximum pressure I want is (15psi) but am unsure of the minimum requirement.
Can anyone educate me on the minimum psi needs?

Re: Closed cooling PSI
On the closed cooling side of the system the circulating pump does not build system pressure the expanding coolant does, if you are looking for flow rate in 25 yrs I have never seen any thing on it.... why convert to elect pump, in marine app the hp draw will not make alot of diff in speed......

Re: Closed cooling PSI
My current recirculating pump is cam driven, raw water is belt driven, Just liked the idea of less "direct mechanical pump" driving.
Do not need more HP, Got more than I need now
BTW Thanks

Re: Closed cooling PSI
I ordered them form Summit. I will inspect them and before I install, If I do not like them for some reason, They will take them back no problems.
I don't abuse this but when it is necessary, i use it.
