Another Bravo Question(again)
I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN ASKED AND ANSWERED MANY TIMES BUT I NEED TO GET IT ANSWERED THIS WAY SO ITS CLEAR TO ME,THANKS! IF I BOUGHT 2 BRAVO DRIVES FOR MY TWIN POWERED BOAT CAN I JUST BOLT THEM ON AND HAVE THE SAME ROTATION AS THE OLD DRIVES ?IS THE SHIFTER THE ONLY THING THAT CONTROLLS THE WAY THE DIRECTION OF THE DRIVE ROTATES OR IS THERE AN INTERNAL CHANGE ASWELL?ARE ALL BRAVO SYTLE DRIVES SET UP THE SAME INSIDE?
THANKS AGAIN

Re: Another Bravo Question(again)
Yes the bravo drives are made to rotate in either direction. The change would be make at the shift bracket located on the motor.Cable to the one drive would be located on the top of the arm and the other on the bottom. This way when you move your levers forward both cable move in the same direction until you get to the shift plate. Then thats were the change takes place, one goes into forward and the other into reverse. What type of drives are you replacing?

Re: Another Bravo Question(again)
Cool, thanks,so Does That Mean Both Drives Are The Same Internaly And Its Just A Matter Of The Cables Being Pushed Or Pulled?so It Doesnt Matter Which Side I Put The Drives On ,they Will Work Like The Old Ones Did(rotation Wise)? Thanks

Re: Another Bravo Question(again)
Yes. There are some who like to rotate their drives to even the wear and there are other (me) who prefer to run them on the same side where they are happy. Otherwise, they are the same.

yes, if you pull the back cap off a volvo and switch the rod to the shifter lever that will reverse the rotation
