Who is a candidate for engine preluber?
I am probably not the unusual, in that I let me boat set for a week or two throughout the summer. Besides, the winter. Are there any studies that show a preluber saves the engine? Does using a good oil make a preluber not necessary? Thanks.
If so, are there differences between the brands?

not sure of any studies, but i feel they are a great addition in trying to extend engine life. here's a preluber on a set of 1250's i installed. the owner swears by them. had them on his last set too.
