My speedo has to be clogged cause its barely moving, i think it needs to be cleared out, just curious if someone could tell me what to check for and the easiest way to clear it out.. im thinking with air, but what i need to know is if i take the dash out and the disconnect the hose from the back of the gauge to blow air through the line will i hurt anything and will a hose clamp work to put the hose back on? thanks

I would suggest you do what you are thinking...pull the hose off the gauge and use compressor air to blow out the hose. If you have a stainless speedo tube pick-up, you may be able to see wood in the end of the tube. I would also suggest you disconnect the line at the water pick-up on the initial blow and then also blow out the pick-up separately to make sure all is clean.

If a Bravo drive,check the speedo pickup hole in the leading edge for a peice of wood stuffed in it.
