Default 502 MPI & 140 thermostat?

Is it a bad idea to run a 140 thermostat in the 502MPI mag motor. Seems like it comes out of the cold - enriched mode at about 120+ degrees now but I am not sure what program setting is.

Just thinking it might help with marginal oil temps during the long hard runs.

Your correct the oil does get hotter. I just do not know if the ECM will stay in enriched mode with a 140 t-stat for water. Cooler block temperature will help with oil temp.
Thanks
