Default Blackhawk to Bravo Conversion

I've checked the search engines and couldn't find the Bravo to Blackhawk direction question answered.

Question is , how much is involved in converting blackhawk to bravo drives? I am interrested in a making the change on a 40th Anniv Scarab P-29 setup.

My question comes from feeling that after 10 years of use/sitting some work may be required and i would rather go with a drive that has readily available parts(bravo) than repairs on the blaclhawk.

I always heard that the blackhawk was a dependable drive, and quite strong. I don't have any experience with them but those P-29 Scarabs are definitely cool.

I think they use the same gimbal assembly. In other words just bolt the bravo on and go.

So do you have running Blackhawks? Just update the gears and enjoy.

Why swap out great drives? New gear sets and go. I have over 100 trouble free hard running hours on an updated BH drive and its still perfect inside with 570hp going thru it. Parts are not hard to find at all. The only tricky one is the vertical shaft and max machine werx has new ones if needed. Oh and props are a little tough too.
