Excessive blowby
Has anyone running a blower ever blew out their intake gaskets? I'm hoping thats what happend to me. After a hard run this weekend i'm blowing oil out my breather when I run hard. It also has a very slight miss now.

Could be a dead cylinder - bring a compression tester and/or leakdown tester.

That is either from too small or badly designed breathers, but more likely from a problem with the rings or a piston.
Blowing out an intake gasket is a small possibility, not likely with most marine blower setups.

Seriously, it is probably either a burnt piston or a bent or "tuliped" valve due to heat. Intake gaskets dont blow....either it got lean or you had too much timing or both.

Don't tear your motor down just yet. I put a Whipplecharger on a stock 502 and had serious blowby. Sometimes, the dipstick would blow out of its tube. Since then I had the motor rebuilt (it's a long story) and still get some blowby after a long hard run.
Your breather setup is key. Hopefully you are not getting water in your oil. That is a sign of another problem.
